Enter Your \u201cShip from\u201d Address<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you need a \u201cShip from\u201d address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/7f5\/5d9e5a7f5fb9b269400692.png\" alt=\"Enter Your \u201cShip from\u201d Address\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If your supplier is shipping the products to the Amazon warehouse for you, enter their address here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re getting the shipment delivered to your house in the US and plan on sending it to the Amazon warehouse from here, enter your own address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you\u2019ve hired a freight forwarder company to get the shipment from your supplier (For example, from China) to the U.S., enter their address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our experience, hiring a freight forwarder is a better and cheaper option. Here\u2019s why:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the US, Amazon offers deep discounts with partnered freight companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you use a freight forwarder, they will hold your shipment at their location in the US after getting it delivered from China. From here, they can use Amazon partners to deliver the shipment cheaply to Amazon warehouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Individual or Case-Packed Products?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For the \u201cPacking type,\u201d you\u2019ll have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Individual products<\/li><li>Case-packed products<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/89b\/5d9e5a89b4110322160531.png\" alt=\"Individual or Case-Packed Products?\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re shipping different kinds of products (for example, mobile phone cases of different designs, colors, and sizes), go for \u201cIndividual products\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you\u2019re just ordering multiple identical units of one product, select \u201cCase-packed products\u201d. This option is the more widely used one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u201cContinue to shipping plan\u201d to go to the next step:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Enter the Number of Units to Be Shipped<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you need to enter the total units you have in your shipment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/911\/5d9e5a9118b9e743765845.png\" alt=\"Enter the Number of Units to Be Shipped\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply enter the number of units you\u2019ve ordered with your supplier and go to the next step:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Enter Dimensions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After entering the number of units, enter the dimensions of your product:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/96c\/5d9e5a96c1875270368236.png\" alt=\"Enter Dimensions\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u201cSave\u201d after entering the correct dimensions. Ensure that both the number of units and the dimensions of your product are entered correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You won\u2019t have much flexibility to change the number of units later, and your shipping cost will be calculated according to the dimensions of your product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If any of these is entered incorrectly, you will have to face costs and complications when your goods arrive at the Amazon warehouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u201cContinue\u201d to go to the next step:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/a00\/5d9e5aa009635605507858.png\" alt=\"Enter Dimensions\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We will not be using Amazon\u2019s packaging services, for now, so select \u201cContinue\u201d again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Labelling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Every shipped unit needs to have a barcode label on it so that Amazon can scan it when it arrives at their warehouse. There are two ways to get labels on your product units:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/ab1\/5d9e5aab17229880011089.png\" alt=\"10.png\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want Amazon to take care of this, they will charge you 20 cents per product:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/b24\/5d9e5ab24a1a5323826931.png\" alt=\"Labelling\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re only shipping a few units (25-30 units), this would cost you somewhere around $5 only. However, if you\u2019re getting a large shipment (500 units), this can be quite expensive (around $100).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, if you do it yourself, it wouldn\u2019t cost you a cent:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/bb8\/5d9e5abb85970026564300.png\" alt=\"Labelling\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can send the labels to your suppliers and ask them to paste them on your units. They will usually do this for free but may charge a fee. Nonetheless, it would still cost you lesser than Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to do it yourself, you can get the units shipped to your house in the US and paste them yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u201cContinue\u201d to go to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Review Shipments<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Amazon will generate your \u201cship to\u201d address(es):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/d6d\/5d9e5ad6d8727479581251.png\" alt=\"Review Shipments\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the Amazon warehouses to which you\u2019re supposed to ship your product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the example attached above, you can see that there are three addresses of three different warehouses instead of just one warehouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that you will have to send the specified number of boxes to each warehouse. Shipping to three different places can cost you three times more than shipping to just one location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, you can do nothing about this (for free). You can turn on the \u201cinventory placement\u201d option in your seller account settings if you really don\u2019t want to ship to multiple locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you will have to pay extra for this service. It can cost you $0.40-1.30 per item, depending upon the size of your items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u201cApprove shipments\u201d. You will now be able to work on each individual shipment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/dfd\/5d9e5adfda8a7477022795.png\" alt=\"Review Shipments\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_4_Work_on_Your_Shipment\"><\/span>Step 4: Work on Your Shipment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you select \u201cWork on shipment\u201d for delivery, you will have to provide details of your shipment type, packaging, shipping carrier, and shipping charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s go through each of these sections individually:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Shipping Services<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For this section, you\u2019ll have to specify a shipping method and a shipping carrier:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/e8c\/5d9e5ae8c41e8578423316.png\" alt=\" Shipping Services\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Select \u201cSmall parcel delivery\u201d for the shipping method because you won\u2019t be shipping pallets or truckloads for now. But if you are, then select this option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the shipping carrier, you have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Use Amazon Partnered Carriers: <strong>UPS<\/strong> and <strong>FedEx<\/strong><\/li><li>Use other shipping carriers of your own<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Always go for the first option if you can. Amazon partnered carriers give Amazon sellers heavy discounts on shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can, of course, use your own carrier service but be prepared to pay more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Shipment Packing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In this section, you\u2019ll need to specify the packaging details of your shipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll have these 4 options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5a\/f34\/5d9e5af34c6a6754589600.png\" alt=\"Shipment Packing\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One-Box &amp; One SKU per Box<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first two options are fairly straightforward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you\u2019re shipping several units of identical phone cases, go for the first option \u201cEverything in one box\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re shipping phone cases of different designs or for different mobile phones, they\u2019ll all have different SKUs. In this case, you can select \u201cOne SKU per box\u201d to have cases of one type in one box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multiple SKU per Box<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to group units having different SKUs together in one box, you\u2019ll have two options depending upon the number of boxes in your shipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are 15 or less number of boxes, go for the first option but if you have more than 15 boxes, go for the second option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These two options require a bit of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have equal to or less than 15 boxes, select its option and enter your number of boxes. Select \u201cConfirm\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5b\/00b\/5d9e5b00b51e6123476741.png\" alt=\"Multiple SKU per Box\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll now need to provide details about how many units of an SKU you want to go in each box:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5b\/09c\/5d9e5b09c087d216461869.png\" alt=\"Multiple SKU per Box\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of this sheet, you will also have to enter the weight and dimensions of the boxes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5b\/11a\/5d9e5b11ab533993318833.png\" alt=\"Multiple SKU per Box\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, if you go for the other option (more than 15 boxes), you&#8217;ll just have to provide the same details again, but of course, on a larger scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon will provide you with an excel sheet this time (similar to the one you had to fill for the previous option) so that you can download it, edit it and enter the details for each box and SKU, and upload it back on Amazon once it\u2019s complete:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pixelfy.me\/storage\/app\/uploads\/public\/5d9\/e5b\/19b\/5d9e5b19bf280967419643.png\" alt=\"Multiple SKU per Box\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll first need to enter the number of boxes and the file format of your spreadsheet (in this case, \u201c20\u201d and \u201cExcel\u201d respectively) and select \u201cGenerate pack list template\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A downloadable spreadsheet file will appear below.
